With summer long gone and fall in our midst, we all know that winter is just a sneeze away. So there are a few things that we must all do to get our wardrobes winter ready! First things first, before you buy anything, take a look in your closet and see what you already have from previous winters. Mind you, don’t pull anything out that is our of style or that dates back more than 5 years ago unless it is a turtle neck, and even then it is time to get a new one. After you’ve done some basic inventory, you know what you really need to purchase. Make sure that you are stocked up on long johns and under shirts and tights especially if you live in a colder climate. You can generally find these at most clothing retailers if you live in a cold climate.These are really important and keep you from getting sick on those really cold days. Do you have plenty of turtle necks and long sleeved shirts? You should have them in multiple colors especially black and white, which are the most versatile. (more…)
